I so wanted to do a color pic with Nelly even before starting this manga! I really liked her earthy color tones when I first did their profiles but couldn't find the chance to do a proper color drawing of her until now
The BG doilies are done with the Gimp's "kaleidoscope" plugin. (My brother finally found a way to have it in the new version of Gimp XD)
All done with the Gimp and wacom tablet.

They are so beautiful. And I really liked Nelly in your manga. Her and Meggie's personalities make great contrast.
